Summary

Some plugins for collecting events through external scripts written in other languages have reached their End of Life (EOL). NetWitness Security strongly recommends using replacements for these EOL plugins.

NetWitness® Platform 12.5.0 and all previous versions.

Details

The NetWitness® Platform utilizes plugins to collect events through external scripts written in various languages. These scripts, along with their associated definitions and other necessary files, are packaged as an Event Source Type.

Some of these plugins have reached their End of Life (EOL). NetWitness Security strongly recommends transitioning to the replacements for these EOL plugins.

You can download the plugins from NetWitness® Live. Be sure to also download the Implementation Guide and consult it before installing and configuring the plugin.
